This is broad-stroke editing—the big picture with detailed feedback about ht overall structure of your book. Perhaps the plotline isn't quite working out, or changing your POV would enhance the story. Maybe the story is wonderful but has a couple hundred unnecessary pages (yes, this happens). What is working? What isn't working? Development is similar in concept to an Alpha reading, but with more detail and author/editor communication. Up to five calls, emails, or Zoom meetings are included.
